박문희 박문호 박차정의 독립운동 기억하기 = Remembering the anti-Japanese independence movement of Park Mun-hee, Park Mun-ho, and Park Cha-jeong

국문 초록 (Abstract)

이 글은 박문희, 박문호 박차정의 독립운동을 독립운동 가족 사례로 연구한 논문이다. 그동안 박차정에 비해 알려지지 않았던 박문희 박문호의 활동을 독립운동가족 사례로서 파악하고, 그들의 삶과 활동을 1920, 30년대 항일 독립운동의 큰 흐름 속에서 독립운동의 장과 연결하여 서술하였다. 많이 알려진 박차정의 독립운동 곁에는 오빠 박문희 박문호가 있었고, 박차정이 근우회 활동을 하다 중국으로 망명하여 활동하는 데에는 두 오빠의 역할이 컸다. 또한 이들 3남매의 독립운동은 김원봉을 정점으로 한 의열단 운동과 연결되었다.
이렇게 한 집안 형제들의 독립운동을 서로 연결하여 파악함으로써 인간 중심의 독립운동의 내용을 보다 풍부하게 재현할 수 있었다. 그것은 기존의 박차정 중심의 연구와 기억문화에서 배제되었던 박문희와 박문호를 연구 재현함으로써, 당시 독립운동의 전체 이야기(whole story)에 보다 다가가는 것이다. 한 공간에 있었던 사람들에게 함께 시선을 줌으로써 독립운동 연구와 이야기 구성(narrative)은 더욱 풍부하고 다양해지는 것을 이들 형제들의 독립운동 사례는 보여주고 있다.
이 연구를 통해 독립운동 연구와 역사문화의 개선점을 제안을 하였다. 첫째는 개인 중심의 기념을 넘어서는 연구와 역사문화의 방향성이다. 둘째는 당시 청년들의 삶과 독립운동의 확장성에 주목하는 연구를 통해 공공의 역사문화로 소통하는 것이다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This article is a study of the anti-Japanese independence movement of Park Munhee, Park Mun-ho, and Park Cha-jeong as a case study of the independence movement family. The activities of Park Mun-hee and Park Mun-ho, which were not as well known as Park Cha-jeong, were identified as examples of families in the independence movement, and their lives and activities were described in connection with the independence movement in the context of the major flow of the anti-Japanese independence movement in the 1920s and 1930s. Park Cha-jeong’s well-known independence movement was accompanied by her older brothers Park Mun-hee and Park Mun-ho, and her two older brothers played a major role in Park Cha-jeong’s exile in China. In addition, the independence movement of these three siblings was connected to the Ui-yeol-dan movement led by Kim Won-bong.
By understanding their independence movements in this way, we can understand the content of the independence movement centered on people more richly. By researching Park Mun-hoe and Park Mun-ho, who were excluded from the existing research centered on Park Cha-jeong and the culture of memory, we can get closer to the whole story of the independence movement at that time. The case of Park Cha-jeong and his brothers’ independence movement shows that by giving a joint perspective to people who were in the same space, research on the independence movement and its narrative become richer and more diverse.
Through this study, this paper improvements to independence movement research and historical culture. First, it is the direction of research and historical culture that goes beyond individual-centered commemoration. Second, it is to communicate as public historical culture through research that focuses on the extensibility of the lives of young people at the time and the extensibility of the Korean independence movement.
