한문과 성취평가제 운영의 쟁점과 실행 방안 모색

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The new achievement evaluation system was implemented from the academic year 2012. This system is a system of absolute valuation of existing criterion-referenced evaluation.However, the existing absolute valuation system emphasizes only the absolute standard upon assessment of a point, and lacks teaching-learning assessment based on standard, and venerable to bubbling of grades for which the new name was proposed to compensate such deficiencies.Though Achievement Evaluation intended to compensate for such shortcomings of the existing evaluation system, but various operational issues are being exposed until the new system settled down its place in the schooling sites.Specially, in view of the Chinese character subject being taught by 1-2 teachers in every school, such issues of problem may turn into a grave trouble as it approaches to the fundamental problem which may ignite to the feeling of objection to the new system.There are major three contention in application of Achievement Evaluation by schools.First, the issue whether perfect teachers` assessment expertise Second, the difference can`t be felt from existing absolute evaluation system.Third, not easy system to be settled down in the site as long as the existence of current college entrance system.Being issues to the Chinese character subject;First, the point that the Curriculum Council being the key for Achievement Evaluation appears to be not an easy task.Second, there is a difficult in implementing objective narrative. essay evaluation.Third, it is very hard to guess the student level in the beginning of school semester.Forth, difficulty in accurate assessment due to student`s give up of learning because of the entrance exam oriented practice.However, the Achievement Evaluation system has a positive side as well in educational perspective. Because the system of evaluation itself emphasizes the essential aspect of assessment.To be applied correctly at site the Chinese character & Achievement Evaluation system, the following expertise by the Chinese character teachers are required;First, required to have accurate understanding about Achievement standard & Achievement level and the reasonable evaluation has to be made based on it. Second, at initial period of school year, the teaching-learning plan needs to be set up by reconstruction of the curriculum based on achievement standard.Third, the assessment plan be prepared in detail, specially be reflected the achievement standard. Forth, the result of evaluation is presented specifying by less than medium scale domains and based on it, a feedback should be implemented.
