소통하고 공존하는 마을목회를 위한 기독교교육 방향 연구: 한국의 마을목회 사례를 중심으로 = A Study on the Direction of Christian Education for Communicative and Coexistent Maeul Ministry: Focused on Cases of Maeul Ministry in Korea

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 논문은 지구적 전환시대와 교회의 신뢰도 하락이라는 위기 속에서, 교회가 본질적 사명인 선교적 교회로서의 역할을 수행하며 사회와 소통하고 공존하며 하나님의 나라를 구현할 수 있는 가능성을 모색한다. 이를 위해 마을을 소통과 공존의 장으로 설정하고, 마을목회의 실제적 사례를 통해 한국교회의 미래 방향성을 탐구하였다.
주요 연구 방법은 마을과 마을목회에 대한 이론적 성찰과 사례 연구로 구성되며, 특히 <마을목회의 유형별 사례와 신학적 성찰>을 통해 다양한 목회 사례를 분석하였다. 이 연구는 마을목회가 단순한 신학적 개념을 넘어 교육적, 사회적, 생태적 의미를 담고 있음을 드러내며, 세계 신학계에서도 주목받는 한국적 맥락의 실천적 연구로 확장되어야 함을 강조한다.
마을목회의 성공 요인은 교회의 위치나 규모와 상관없이 선교적 정체성, 마을과 함께 살고자 하는 개방성, 목회자의 진정성 있는 리더십, 교회 공동체의 헌신적 참여가 핵심으로 작용했음을 확인하였다. 이를 통해 마을목회는 교회와 마을이 함께 행복한 삶을 실천하며 하나님 나라의 가치를 구현하는 중요한 도구임을 보여준다.
이를 가능케 하기 위해 기독교교육은 다음과 같은 방향성을 가져야 한다. 첫째, 종합학문적 분석: 사회와 전 지구적 상황을 이해하고 분석할 수 있는 접근법, 둘째, 실천 역량 강화를 위한 기독교적 앎과 삶을 연결하는 실천 중심의 교육, 셋째, 현장 중심 교육을 통해 교육의 현장화와 현장의 교육화를 통해 이론과 실천을 통합 하는 교육과정을 설계하여 이론과 현장이 상호 소통하고 교회와 사회가 소통하고 공존할 수 있도록 하는 체계적 교육과정의 중요성을 제언하였다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This paper explores the possibility that the church can fulfill its essential mission as a missional church, communicate and coexist with society, and realize the kingdom of God in the midst of the crisis of global transition and declining credibility of the church. To this end, the Maeul is set as a place of communication and coexistence, and the future direction of the Korean church is explored through actual cases of Maeul ministry.
The main research method consists of theoretical reflection and case studies on Maeul and Maeul ministry, and in particular, various pastoral cases were analyzed through <Case Studies and Theological Reflections on Maeul Ministry>. This study revealed that Maeul ministry goes beyond a simple theological concept and contains educational, social, and ecological meanings, and emphasized that it should be expanded into practical research in the Korean context that is drawing attention in the global theological community.
To this end, we looked at new social changes in the era of global transition, such as the climate crisis, civilizational changes due to the emergence of artificial intelligence, population changes, and the advent of a multicultural society. In the midst of social change, the church is facing a crisis of losing social trust. In order to overcome this situation, coexist with society, and realize the values ​​of the kingdom of God, it is important to reflect on the essential mission of the church, the ‘missional church,’ and examine its practice.
I also looked into the sociological, educational, and theological significance of the Maeul as a place of communication and coexistence. And I looked into cases of healthy Maeul ministry in Korea, such as Ssangsaem Nature Church, Asan Songak Church, and Ansan Myeongseong Church, to see cases of carrying out the discipleship of Jesus Christ and taking on social responsibility in the Maeul As a result of analyzing these cases, it was confirmed that the key factors for the success of Maeul ministry were missional identity, openness to live together with the Maeul, genuine leadership of the pastor, and dedicated participation of the church community, regardless of the location or size of the church. Through this, it is shown that Maeul ministry is an important tool for the church and the Maeul to practice a happy life together and realize the values ​​of the kingdom of God.
To make this possible, Christian education must have the following directions. First, comprehensive academic analysis: an approach that can understand and analyze society and the global situation; second, practice-centered education that connects Christian knowledge and life to strengthen practical capabilities; and third, designing a curriculum that integrates theory and practice through field-centered education and field-centered education, so that theory and field can communicate with each other and the church and society can communicate and coexist. The importance of a systematic curriculum was suggested.
