This paper examines how male feminists, who have emerged amid intensifying gender conflicts, engage with feminism by analyzing 10 books published by male feminists. The analysis revealed that men encounter feminism through various pathways, and that becoming a feminist identity is not a one-time event but is significantly influenced by environments where they can continuously engage with feminism through peers and supportive contexts. A notable tendency among male feminists was an emphasis on their identity as "men." Some of them perceived feminism as a movement that does not directly concern them because of their gender, while others expressed support and solidarity with women’s voices or viewed their role as male feminists as being limited to persuading other men. However, with a growing diversity of male feminists, there are also men who are engaging with feminism in multiple ways in their own lives. These individuals come to view feminism not as a women’s issue, but as a personal issue that deeply relates to their own experiences. The significance of this study lies in the discovery that as more men identify their vulnerabilities and share them within the framework of feminism, there emerges a sense that feminism is not limited to women alone, but can also be a movement for men themselves.
