아파트 거실의 照明環境에 관한 硏究 = (A) Study on the lighting environment of living room in apartment house

Housing lighting must satisfy the lighting function appropriate to the life in each room and comfortable lighting environment should be made.
As the life style and level of residents have been diversified, individualized and high class, the desire for harmonizing lighting with the various aspects of life not for the brightness for simple work or activity is increased.
This study aims at examining the actual conditions of lighting environment and the consciousness and responses of residents with the living room of apartment house, grasping the problems of existing lighting methods, offering the lighting environment design standard in harmony with the various demands of residents, functions of living room space, life in living room and interior decoration and then pursuing the comfortable living environment.
As the scope and methods of research for these, existing research methods are examined through the consideration of preceding researches and the basic outline of this research is constructed. Questionnaire survey is conducted with six apartment complexes including Kumho district, Munhung district, Sangmu district, Unnam district, Ilkok district and Chumdan district, the problems and improvements of lighting environment conditions are examined, conception and selection of lighting equipment design image are made, lighting equipment design of living room is suggested and the expected effects of lighting equipment ordering method are arranged as follows.
1) As a result of comparing and analyzing general characteristics of research households, elements of lighting equipment design and interior decoration image, in lighting equipment color, bright, vivid, warm and calm colors are preferred and in materials of lighting equipment, glass, wood and synthetic resin are preferred, in structure of the equipment, easy handling and strong, durable and easy cleaning structure are preferred and in the image of lighting equipments, modern and natural image is preferred. Also in the interior decoration image, modern and natural mood is preferred most like the image of lighting equipments.
As a result of comparing and analyzing the image of interior decoration to that of lighting equipment, when simple and modern interior decoration is preferred, the image of lighting equipments with sophisticated, modern and elegant design is also preferred. And in the case of natural and warm interior decoration image using natural materials, the natural image of lighting equipments using simple, modern and natural materials is preferred and they have a correlation.
2) The range of appropriate illumination by the whole and local lighting is suggested by considering the standard illumination and the behavior of each room.
In case of living room, it is suggested that the whole illumination should be over 100(lx), for the hospitality of family harmony and guests, local illumination should be over 150(lx) and for reading, needling and studying, illumination over 6000(lx). The whole lighting for kitchen and table should be over 100(lx), the lighting for cooking, family meals and conversation with local lighting over 200(lx), the whole lighting in entrance over l00(lx) and lighting for footwear cabinet and mirror with local lighting over 150(lx).
3) It is important that lighting source with preference of residents and good efficiency should be selected in consideration of its characteristics.
In case of living room, it is desirable that the lighting source of the whole lighting uses fluorescent lamp and incandescent electric lamp and for local lighting, halogen lamp and power-saving fluorescent lamp should be used.
4) The installation of existing lighting equipments is made of the whole lighting in living room and directing lighting is installed on the heating table with whole and local lighting in kitchen. In case of table, lamp hanging on ceiling is installed as local lighting, but it may not be used or installed.
Living room has the whole lighting system and the kinds of lighting equipments include chandelier, lamp hanging on ceiling as whole lighting equipment and wall lamp, spotlight and floor lamp as local lighting equipments.
5) In the adoption of lighting equipment ordering, 87.1% of research households responded "they agree to it" and major reason of agreement is "because they can select the interior mood and lighting equipment they like".
As a result of examining and analyzing the lighting environment of living room in existing apartment houses, it is known that the conditions of existing lighting environment considered uniform lighting plan for functional sides of each room which didn't consider the various living behaviors and preference of residents and while the degree of interior decoration design is actually positive.
Accordingly it seems that the lighting equipment ordering which considers the various preferences of residents is applied as the means for comfortable lighting environment, the interior environmental mood will be greatly. improved.
