역사적 사건 기반 디지털 스토리텔링이 고등학교 지적장애학생의 역사적 사고력에 미치는 영향 = The Effects of Historical Event-based Digital Storytelling on Historical Thinking Ability of High School Students with Intellectual Disabilities

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 역사적 사건 기반 디지털 스토리텔링이 고등학교 지적장애학생의 역사관련 교과교육에서 역사적 사고력에 미치는 영향을 알아보는데 그 목적이 있다. 이러한 목적을 달성하기 위해 ‘첫째, 역사적 사건 기반 디지털 스토리텔링 역사교육이 고등학교 지적장애 학생의 전제 역사적 사고력 향상에 미치는 영향은 무엇인가?’, ‘둘째, 역사적 사고력 하위영역별 향상에 미치는 영향을 무엇인가?’ 라는 연구문제를 설정하였다. 본 연구를 수행하기 위하여 고등학교 특수학급 학생 중 의도적으로 총 30명의 학생을 연구의 대상으로 선정하여 실험집단과 통제집단을 각각 15명으로 배정하였다. 실험집단에는 총 20차시에 걸쳐 연구자가 구안한 역사적 사건 기반 디지털 스토리텔링 수업방법을 실시하였고 통제집단에는 전통적인 강의식교수방법을 실시하였다. 역사적 사고력 검사는 사전과 사후에 실시하여 평균점수를 산출하고 공변량분석(ANCOVA)을 이용하여 효과 차이를 검증하였다. 그 결과 역사적 사건 기반 디지털 스토리텔링을 실시한 실험집단이 전통적 강의식 수업을 실시한 통제집단에 비해 역사적 사고력 사후점사 점수가 사전검사 점수보다 더 높은 점수를 보였다. 이를 통해 역사적 사건 기반 디지털 스토리텔링이 지적장애 학생의 역사적 사고력 향상에 유의미한 효과가 있음을 알 수 있었고 역사적 사건 기반 디지털 스토리텔링은 고등학교 지적장애 학생들의 역사적 사고력을 향상시키는데 보다 효과적인 교수·학습 방법이라고 할 수 있다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study aims to explore the effects of historical event-based digital storytelling on historical thinking ability of the high school students with intellectual disabilities. A research question selected to achieve this goal is as follows; First, what is the effect of history education based on historical event-based digital storytelling on improvement of general historical thinking ability of the high school students with intellectual disabilities? Second, what is the effect of history education based on historical event-based digital storytelling on improvement of historical thinking ability for subareas of the high school students with intellectual disabilities? For this purpose, a total of 30 students in special classes of high schools were deliberately selected as study subjects, who were assigned to experimental group of 15 students and control group of 15 students, respectively. The teaching method of historical event-based digital storytelling devised by the researcher was implemented on the experimental group while traditional teaching method based on lectures was implemented on the control group a total of 20 times. Historical thinking ability tests were conducted before and after the implementations to calculate the average score, and the difference in effects was verified through analysis of covariance (ANCOVA). As a result, the experimental group on whom historical event-based digital storytelling was implemented showed a higher post-test score than pre-test score in historical thinking ability compared with the control group on whom traditional lectures class was implemented. The study showed that the method of historical event-based digital storytelling has a meaningful effect on improvement of historical thinking ability of high school students with intellectual disabilities and historical event-based digital storytelling is more effective teaching and learning method to improve historical thinking ability of high school students with intellectual disabilities.
