아토피성 피부 증상 개선을 위한 아로마 비누 제조 및 효능에 관한 연구 = A Study on the Manufacturing and Effect of the Aroma Soap for Atopic Skin Symptoms

  This study was to develop the product which had little side effect on the skin and so could be used in the Aroma therapy. For this purpose, a type of carrier oil was mixed with three types of essential oils to obtain two kinds of soaps which have an optimal effect on the skin by appling the mixed one to the people who have skin related troubles.<BR>  In this study, ordinary people who resided in Gyeongnam province including Masan, Changwon, and Jangyu, and elementary, middle, and high school students were participated and compared their skin before and after they used the Aroma soap. The results are as follows.<BR>  First, Atomond was applied to the subjects who had dry, itching, and horny tissue with a mix of 80g of basic soap and Chamomile German, Lavender, and Geranium at the rate of 1 : 1 : 1 and added 1% of Sweet Almond oil which represents a Carrier oil to the soap resulted from the first mix. Of 80(accounted for 66.7%), 37(66.7%) complained of itching and 21(26.3%) complained of dry, 15(18.8%) didn"t complain any skin related symptoms, and other 7(8.8%) was not statistically significant. This shows that Sweet almond oil, Chamomile German, Lavender, and Geranium have effect on the care for itching and dry skin.<BR>  Second, Atorose was applied to the people who had imflammation along with dry and itching with a mix of 80g of basic soap and Chamomile German, Lavender, and Bergamot at the rate of 1 : 1 : 1 and added 1% of Evening Primrose oil which represents a Carrier oil to the soap resulted from the first mix. Of 40(accounted for 33.3%), 16(40%) complained of itching, 7(17.5%) complained of imflammation, 12(30%) didn"t any symptoms regarding itching, dry, and imflammation, and other 5(12.5%) was not statistically significant. This suggests that Evening Primrose oil, Chamomile German, Lavender, and Bergamot have effect on the care for itching and imflammation related skin.<BR>  This study took consideration into reliability and as the subject selected the people who accepted as persons who have a disease of atopic skin symptoms rather than the people who diagnosed themselves as the patients of atopic skin symptoms.<BR>  This study indicates that though there are various Aroma products in the market, they almost lack accurate analysis about the components of the Essential oil, so it is important for the Aroma product, which is more effective to the people who have atopic skin symptoms, to be developed.
