As the musical education in primary school until now was partial to the singing parts by teacher-oriented leading, it couldn't provide students with a good opportunity that could develop their musical aptitude and individuality.
Accordingly their interesting about music naturally decreased, and most students couldn't assuredly play an instrument. This is a regrettable reality of musical education in primary school.
That is the reason why I studied this subject, namely, there is need to improve the method of musical education by introducing instrumental music and to raise students with abundant musical feeling. So I hope that my study will be able to contribute to the elevation of students' ability on instrumental play and musical understanding.
The purpose of this study is to grope the method of an effective guidance for recorders' ensemble in order to lead students who have a poor musical aptitude.
After finding out our class students' real situation, I came to make a decision to study the method on an effective guidance. The method of this study consists of two plans; the first plan is to grope the method of phased guidance for recorders' ensemble by analyzing the data on the recorders' play in musical textbook from the third grade to the sixth grade, and the second plan is to verify the effective side by applying 'The interesting learning for the elevation of recorder's play' and 'The learning data for CD' to students.
The priority subjects for the enforcement are as followings.
Firstly, the analysis on the guidance course of recorder in the musical textbook now in use.
Secondly, the phased guidance of basic contents for recorder's play.
Thirdly, the effective plan for the elevation of playing capability by recorder.
1)The elevatory plan of recorder's play by 'the interesting learning for the elevation of recorder's play'.
2)The elevatory plan of recorder's play by 'the learning data for CD' and the collection of recorder's playing songs.
Fourthly, the establishment and study as the method for ensemble guidance focused on children's songs.
The results of this study were as followings.
1.The periods and the units related with recorder of the music textbook are organized at the low ratio of 21.2% and 11.7% respectively as compared to the number of whole units and the whole periods. And now that it is kind of difficult to gain the exact and skillful playing technique on the recorder by practicing of this or so, I think there is need to guide students systematically through the developmental activities or the extra-activities after school.
2.Students' playing capability was improved by instructing them constantly and systematically, and especially in seeing a notation for the first time, the power of their reading it was elevated by doing so.
3.'The interesting learning for the elevation of recorder's play' had a great influence on the elevation of playing capability.
4.'The learning data for CD as a self teaching book' had an important influence on the elevation of playing capability and the understanding of notation, and students' reaction on it as a tools for autonomous learning was generally affirmative.
5.The effective guidance programs for recorder's ensemble are as followings.
Firstly, the teaching a basic playing technique by recorder to them.
Secondly, the elevating of playing capability by individually using 'the interesting learning for the elevation of recorder's play' and 'the learning data for CD' to them.
Thirdly, the teaching in stages by the learning for recorders' ensemble with children's song in the center.
I could affirm that the above phased guidance had a good influence on such learning.
