중국 대학의 사상적 기초 : 1912년에서 1928년까지 民國 前期를 중심으로 = An ideological foundation affecting University in China focusing on the period from 1912 to 1928 in the former republic

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구에서는 民國 前期 중국 대학의 사상적 기초에 대하여 알아보았다. 대학의 사상적 기초는 대학과 국가 · 사회간의 상보적 관계 속에 형성된다. 이에 본 연구에서는 대학이 주도적으로 형성한 사상적 요소와 국가 · 사회가 대학에 영향을 미쳐 형성된 사상적 요소로 구분하여 살펴보았다. 민국 전기에 대학이 주도적으로 형성한 사상적 요소로는 과학 · 민주 · 자유주의 사상, 마르크스 이론이나 미국의 실용주의와 같은 외래 사상을 들 수 있다. 국가 · 사회가 대학에 영향을 미쳐 형성된 사상적 요소로는 반봉건사상과 통치이념을 들 수 있다. 민국 전기 중국사회는 외적으로는 제국주의의 침략에 맞서고, 내적으로는 봉건사상을 타파하여 새로운 제도를 정착시켜야 했다. 그 속에서 대학의 사상적 기초는 대학과 국가 · 사회의 변화 動因으로 작용하였다. 그리하여 대학과 사회에서 전제정치의 잔재를 청산함과 동시에 현대화를 촉진시켰고, 중국인과 중국사회를 계몽했으며, 중국문화와 서구문화의 교류의 장이 되도록 유도했다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This paper investigates an ideological foundation affecting University in China from 1912 to 1928. It is formed from among the complementary relationships between University, Nation and Society. This study separates and then examines the ideological foundation which University used to take a leading role and the ideological foundation of University influenced by Nation and Society. Foreign ideas such as Scientific thought, Democratism, Liberalism, Marxism and Utilitarianism are the ideological foundation which University used to take a leading role in the former republic. Semi-feudalism and Government ideas at the time are the ideological foundation of University influenced by Nation and Society. Chinese society in the former republic had to guard against external imperialism and establish a new regime as breaking down an internal feudalistic idea. The ideological foundation in University worked as a motive for change in University, Nation and Society. Therefore it liquidated autocracy in University and Society as well as promoted modernization, enlightened Chinese people and Chinese society, and derived the room for an interchange between Western culture and Chinese culture.
