제주지역 뷰티서비스산업 인력 양성 및 발전을 위한 제언 – 직업계 고등학교와 연계를 중심으로

This study was conducted using data from the Jeju Women's Beauty Service Industry Survey(2019) to find out the conditions characteristically required by beauty service industry workers in Jeju and to suggest ways to develop the beauty service industry by strengthening the connection between the beauty service industry and vocational high schools. To achieve the purpose of the study, previous studies related to the beauty service industry were reviewed, and cases of training of beauty service personnel in Jeju Special Self-Governing Province, prediction of demand for beauty service industry manpower in Jeju Special Self-Governing Province, and connection between vocational high schools and local industries were analyzed.<BR/> Based on this case, a plan for the development of the beauty service industry in Jeju in connection with vocational high schools related to the beauty service industry in Jeju was presented as follows. First, for the development of the beauty service industry in Jeju, it is necessary to expand departments related to the beauty service industry in Jeju vocational high schools or open vocational education courses in general high schools to manage the demand for vocational education related to the beauty service industry at the education office level. Second, vocational high schools, local beauty service industry businesses, and related organizations should form an industry, government, and academic council, and communicate through continuous dialogue to cultivate customized talent and link employment. Third, vocational high schools should strengthen their role as lifelong education institutions to retrain beauty service industry workers, and beauty service industry workers can participate in school education as mentors of school companies currently operating.<BR/> Based on this conclusion, the following suggestions are made. First, the Jeju Women's Family Research Institute proposes to expand the vocational curriculum related to the beauty service industry, and suggests to the education office so that re-education of beauty service industry workers can be carried out in vocational high schools. Second, continuous dialogue and communication are required by participating in the formation of an industry, government, and academic council so that the beauty service industry manpower can be systematically trained and become a talent in the local community. Third, for a more accurate survey, a survey of businesses and workers should be conducted together.
