대학교의 진로지원이 남녀 대학생의 진로성숙에 미치는 영향 = The Effect of University Career Support on the Career Mature of Male and Female College Students

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구의 목적은 대학교의 진로지원이 남녀 대학생의 진로성숙에 미치는 영향을 분석하는 것이다. 이를 위해 가장 최근 공개된 고용노동부의 청년패널(Youth Panel)자료를 활용하여 대학교의 진로지원 경험이 있는 4년제 대학생 4,758명(남학생 2,499명, 여학생 2,259명)을 연구대상으로 하였다. 진로지원은 진로교과, 진로상담, 현장실습으로 구성하였고, 진로성숙은 자기이해, 진로계획성, 진로독립성, 진로확신성으로 구성하였다. 연구 결과, 현재 대학교의 진로지원은 대학생의 진로성숙에 미비한 영향을 미치는 것으로 확인되었고, 남녀 대학생의 진로성숙에 다른 영향이 나타났다는 것을 검증하였다. 첫째 진로상담은 남학생의 진로계획성과 진로독립성과 진로확신성에 정(+)의 영향을 미쳤고, 여학생의 진로계획성과 진로독립성에 정(+)의 영향을 미쳤다. 둘째 진로교과와 현장실습은 남학생과 여학생의 진로성숙에는 영향이 없었다. 연구결과를 통해 대학교는 진로성숙이 지속적인 생애진로발달이라는 점과 다각적인 직업의 변화를 고려하여 정체되어 있는 진로지원의 내용을 시급하게 개선을 해야 하겠다. 그리고 성별에 따른 차별화된 프로그램을 마련해야 하겠다. 또한 대학교의 진로지원의 진로교과와 진로상담 그리고 현장실습이 연계된 통합적 접근이 필요해 보인다.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of university career support on the career maturity of male and female college students. To this end, 4,758 four-year college students (2,499 male students and 2,259 female students) were studied using the most recently released Youth Panel data of the Ministry of Employment and Labor. Career support consisted of career subject, career counseling, and field training. And career maturity consisted of self-understanding, career planning, career independence, and career confidence. The results of the study are as follows. First, career counseling had a positive effect on male students' career planning, career independence and career confidence and It had a positive effect on female students' career planning and career independence. Second, Career subject and field training was no effect on the career maturity of male students' and female students. Through the research results, universities should urgently improve the contents of stagnant career support. And we need to come up with a differentiated program according to gender. In addition, the university's career support seems to require an integrated approach that links career course, career counseling, and field training.
