首都圈 農業地域構造에 關한 硏究 = A Study on the Structure of Agricultural Region in the Seoul Metropolitan Area

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The aims of this study are threefold; to examine the patterns of agriculture though the cropcombination; to investigate the degree of intensity variable to distance; and to comprehend the overall synthetic structures of the agricultural region within the Metropolitan Area in the three dimensions of typology, intensity, and landscape.
In this study, the urban area including Seoul, Incheon, and so forth-city level are excepted from the object. So, the regional units used in this analysis are Up and Myon.
the period covered here is 1970 - 1980.
the method of crop-combination revised by Doi is employed in mapping of agricultural typologies.
The results gained here are summarized as follows;
1) During the period 1970 - 1980. the combination region of barley and pulses had become reduced, while that of rice was enlarged.
2) As is more accessible the distance to Seoul, more labor input increase. during the ten years, labor intensity was continually increase in its ratio.
3) The rate of farmhouse equipped with vinyl and green, and dariy farmhouse are analyzed, in order to take the degree of capital and technology intensity. the rate has remarkably increased in suburbs of Seoul during last decade. their locations are diffused and distributed extensively over the whole region of the Greater Seoul.
Particulary, in point of their being expanded largely along the main roads, it seems to be closely related to the development of transportation.
4) For the degree of intensity in land use is connected with the landform and the transportation, area nothern and south-western of Seoul. The former has to do with landform, and the latter transportation. The rate of double cropping paddy field is low in the whole region of Gyeonggi-Do, but such regions as the suburbs of Seoul and the town Anseong and its peripheral regions, the southern part of the Greater Seoul, are high in it. the climate have an immediate influence on the latter.
5) As for the commercial land productivity in terms of agricultural revenue which gained per unit area, that of suburbs of large cities is high in the year 1970.
In view of the ratio of commercial farmhouse, the intensified structure is indicated on the near suburbs of the urban districts.
The percentage of part-time household population has been abruptly increased in accordance with the trends of urbanization for the past 10 years.
6) The ratio of dry-fields and paddy-fields within the Metropolitan Area is changed in relation to the height and the gradient of landforms.
And the more congiguous to the urban area that region is, the higher the ratio of orchard, pasture, and residence is.
This appearance is outstanding in the region of the southern and south-eastern part of Seoul.
7) The scale of cultivated lands of Goyang-Gun, Namyangju-Gun, Gwangju-Gun, which are the suburb of Seoul is characterized by parcels of small-scale land.
In the dry field farming regions of the north-eastern part of the Metropolitan Area, the relative parcel of large-scale land are typical.
8) the form of vinyl and green house is characterized;
a. The asymmetrical form in Gapyeong-Gun and Pochoen-Gun, the north-eastern part of Gyeonggi-Do.
b. The arch-form and semi-arch form in Anseong-Gun, the southern part of Metropolitan Area.
c. The complexing form in the suburbs of Seoul.
9) The main contents of case study on the mountain village, the suburban agricultural village, and the village of cultivating special crops can be summarized as follows:
First, the order of regular cropping shows according to its distance from farmhouse.
Second, it is found that cultivating land is different in size and pattern with drainage system and landforms.
Third, the structure of farmhouse reflects the way of life, the mode production, the cultivating system of main crops.
