유아교육기관 교사와 부모의 의사소통 증진을 위한 스마트 알림장 디자인 방향 연구 = A Study on the Design Direction of Smart Notification Journal to Enhance Communication Between Teachers and Parents in Early Childhood Education Institutions

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 유아교육기관의 교권 침해와 교권 보호, 아동학대에 대한 부모들의 불안감 등 사회적 관심에서 시작되었다. 본 연구의 목적은 유아교육기관의 교사와 부모 간 의사소통 증진과 교사들의 업무 효율성을높이기 위한 것으로 연구 결과 및 내용은 다음과 같다.
첫째, 스마트 알림장의 개념과 현재 유아교육기관에서 사용하고 있으며 또한 본 연구에서 중점적으로 다루는 키즈노트와 한그루 애플리케이션의 현황에 대해고찰하였다. 둘째, 키즈노트의 사용자인 교사 6명, 부모 7명과 한그루의 사용자인 교사 6명, 부모 7명 등총 26명을 대상으로, 교사와 부모 간 의사소통에 대한조사와 현재 사용하고 있는 스마트 알림장 사용자 경험에 대해 인터뷰 및 설문조사를 실시하였다. 셋째, 조사 결과를 통해 문제를 발견하고 어피니티 다이어그램과 페르소나를 통해 문제를 정의하여 유아교육기관에서 사용하는 스마트 알림장의 디자인 방향성을제안하였다. 넷째, 본 연구에서 제안하는 스마트 알림장의 서비스는 ①가독성과 가시성이 높은 인터페이스디자인, ②사용자 편의에 따른 메뉴 위치 변경 및 그룹화, ③부모의 스마트 알림장 작성에 대한 매너 시간관리 및 알림 제공, ④투약의뢰서의 간소화, ⑤사진의기본 편집 기능 제공, ⑥스마트 알림장과 카카오톡 알림 연동 등 총 6가지 서비스로 스마트 알림장의 서비스 기능을 시각화하여 제시하였다.
이러한 연구 결과를 바탕으로 본 연구에서 제안하는 스마트 알림장의 서비스 기능을 실제 적용될 것을기대하며, 후속 연구로 프로토타입을 제작하여 유아교육기관의 원장, 교사와 부모 및 전문가 등을 대상으로사용성 테스트를 통해 효과 검증에 대한 연구가 필요하다.

This study originated from the social interest in the infringement and protection of teachers' rights in early childhood education institutions, as well as parental anxiety about child abuse. The purpose of this study is to enhance communication between teachers and parents in these institutions and improve teachers’ work efficiency. The results and contents of this study are as follows.
First, the study examined the concept of smart notification journal and the current status of KidsNote and Hangloo applications which early childhood education institutions use at present and this study focuses on.
Second, a questionnaire survey and interviews were conducted with a total of 26 participants, including 6 teachers and 7 parents using KidsNote, and 6 teachers and 7 parents using Hangloo, to investigate the communication between teachers and parents and their user experiences with the current smart notification journal.
Third, the research findings revealed issues and proposed a design direction for the smart notification journal utilized in early childhood education institutions by identifying the issues through affinity diagrams and personas.
Fourth, the smart notification journal services proposed in this study include: ①an interface design with high readability and visibility, ②menu rearrangement and grouping according to user convenience, ③etiquette time management and notification offering for parents' smart notifications, ④simplification of medication request forms, ⑤basic photo editing feature offering, and ⑥integration of smart notification journal with KakaoTalk notifications. These six services were visualized and presented as functional features of the smart notification journal.
Based on these study results, it is expected that the proposed services for the smart notification journal will be practically applied. Future research should involve creating a prototype and conducting usability tests with teachers, parents, and experts in early childhood education institutions in order to verify its effectiveness.
