대학생의 비교과 역량에 대한 학생부종합전형의 성과분석: P대학 사례를 중심으로 = Performance Analysis of Student Records Comprehensive Admissions on College Students’ Extracurricular Competencies: Focusing on the Case of P University

국문 초록 (Abstract)

우리나라의 대입 정책 중에서 가장 획기적으로 도입된 입시제도는 학생부종합전형이다. 학생부종합전형은 평가 전문가인 입학사정관을 활용하여 수치화되기 힘든 고교생의 적성, 고교생활, 소질 등을 종합적으로 평가하여 학생들을 선발하는 제도이다. 여기에는 획일적인 방식의 선발로는 더 이상창의적이고 종합적인 인재를 선발할 수 없다는 점이 새로운 대입제도의 탄생에 중요한 가치로 작용하였다. 과거와 완전히 단절된 입학전형으로서 학생부종합전형은 앞으로 도입될 고교학점제와 호응하는 대입전형으로 보고되고 있어 그 지속성이 기대되고 있다. 이에 본 연구는 새로운 학사제도의시행에 따른 학생부종합전형의 역할이 강조되는 시점에서 학생부종합전형이 대학 현장에 어떠한 실질적인 성과를 보이는지 다른 대입전형에서 확인하기 어려운 비교과 역량을 중심으로 확인하고자하였다. 이를 위해 P대학 사례를 중심으로 학생부종합전형 서류평가 군에 따른 대학생의 비교과 역량 차이, 대입전형에 따른 대학생의 비교과 역량 차이를 확인하였다. 또한 대학생의 역량을 공식적으로 검사하는 ‘대학생 핵심역량 진단’인 K-CESA 결과와 설문조사를 통한 자가진단적 결과라는두 가지 측면에서 학생부종합전형의 성과를 분석하였다. 연구의 결과 고교에서 비교과 활동이 대학입학 후 다양한 역량에서 차이를 나타나게 하는 중심적인 역할을 한다는 것을 알 수 있었다. 또한고교의 비교과 활동에 적극적인 참여하는 학생부종합전형 입학생이 대학 생활의 비교과 활동에 더많은 도움을 주고 있다는 것을 확인할 수 있었다.

Among Korea's college admission policy systems, the most epoch-making entrance examination system is the comprehensive student record screening. The comprehensive student record screening is a system that selects students by comprehensively evaluating the aptitude, high school life, and talent of high school students, which are difficult to quantify, using admissions officers, who are evaluation experts. Here, the fact that creative and comprehensive talents can no longer be selected through uniform selection served as an important value in the birth of the new college admission system. As an admissions screening that is completely cut off from the past, the comprehensive student record screening is reported as an admissions screening that corresponds to the high school credit system to be introduced in the future, and its continuity is expected. Therefore, this study attempted to confirm the actual performance of the comprehensive student record screening in the university field at the time when the role of the comprehensive student record screening under the implementation of the new academic system is emphasized, focusing on comparisons and competencies that are difficult to confirm in other college admissions. To this end, the comparison and competency differences between college students according to the comprehensive student record evaluation group, focusing on the case of P University, and the comparison and competency differences between college students according to the college record evaluation group were identified. In addition, the results of K-CESA, a 'diagnosis of core competencies of college students', which officially tests the competencies of college students, and self-diagnosis results through surveys were analyzed in two aspects. As a result of the study, it was found that non-subject activities in high school play a central role in making differences in various competencies after entering college. In addition, it was confirmed that students who actively participate in high school comparison activities are more helpful in comparison and activities in college life.
