학교생활기록부 가해 조치삭제 제도에 대한 학교폭력 피해자의 인식에 관한 현상학적 연구 = A Phenomenological Study on the Perceptions of School Violence Victims in respect of the System of Deletion of Violent Actions from Student Records

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study is aiming at identifying the phenomenon perceived by adolescents who are actual victims of school violence upon the system of deletion of the violent action from student records is being discussed as a preventive measure for school violence, and further exploring the factors necessary for recovery from school violence. For this study, participants were recruited from March to May 2021, and in-depth interviews were conducted with 15 subjects (male: 13, female: 2) whose case was closed following suffering violence in school. Based on the quotes acquired through the interview, 5 high level components and 19 low level components were derived according to the Giorgi's procedure of phenomenological analysis (2004). The high level components were ‘Thought on the Record of Violent Actions’, ‘Influence of Victims on the Record of Violent Actions’, ‘Desired Actions After Suffering Damages from School Violence’, ‘Solutions for School Violence’, and ‘Cause of Recovery from Damage’. In the case of juvenile victims of school violence, positive or negative responses to the record of violent actions were expressed through retributive thinking, damage recovery thinking, preventive thinking, and opportunity recovery thinking, and after the actually suffering damages from school violence, they are desiring the environmental conditions necessary for their recovery, such as physical separation and prohibition of secondary victimization. In order to solve school violence, the emphasis was placed on the recovery of both the victim and the assailant students such as strengthening victim recovery, strengthening guidance, and strengthening prevention. As for the cause that actually had an influence on their own recoveries from damages, secondary damage, psychological anxiety, and the assailant's non-reflective attitude were quoted as negative factors while the procedures and education currently being implemented and the cessation of secondary victimization were quoted as positive factors. Based on these results, the meaning and policy implications were discussed.
