K-Drivers 65 Plus를 이용한 노인 운전자의 위험운전에 미치는 영향 요인 탐색

국문 초록 (Abstract)

목적 : 본 연구는 노인의 운전적합성을 판별하는 한국형 노인 자가운전 평가도구(K-Drivers 65 plus)를 이용하여 위험운전에 영향을 미치는 요인을 살펴보고자 한다.
연구방법 : 65세 이상 노인 운전자 157명을 대상으로 K-Drivers 65 Plus 평가를 실시하고 15개 문항에 대한 응답을 5개 요인으로 구분하였으며, 위험운전에 영향을 미치는 요인들을 파악하기 위해 상관관계분석과 다중회귀분석 을 이용하여 분석하였다.
결과 : 그 결과 ‘교통상황’과 ‘건강우려’요인 간에 강한 부적 상관관계가 확인되었으며(r=-.357, p<.05), 5개 요인 (교통상황, 건강우려, 노력, 안전, 위반·사고) 중 4개의 요인(교통상황, 노력, 안전, 위반·사고)이 운전 위험에 영향 을 미쳤고, 그중에서‘교통상황’이 가장 큰 영향을 주는 것으로 확인되었다(β=.562, p<0.01).
결론 : 노인 운전자는 특정 교통 상황에서 운전이 어려운 것으로 확인되었지만, 외부 조건 만 만족하면 안전하게 운전할 수 있다고 판단하여 운전 능력을 높이 평가하는 경향을 나타내었다. 향후 자가운전평가를 통해 자율 면허 반납을 활성화하고, 운전을 계속하고자 하는 노인들을 위해서 안전 운전범위 및 안전 운전경로 정보제공 또는 다양한 교통상황에서의 대처 방안 교육이 마련되어야 할 것이다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

Objective : The purpose of this study was to investigate the factors influencing the driving risk of elderly drivers using the K-Drivers 65 plus.
Methods : A self-reporting assessment data was conducted on 157 elderly drivers living in the community were collected. The responses to 15 questions were classified into 5 factors, and the effects on risk driving were analyzed through correlation analysis and multiple regression analysis.
Results : As a result, it was confirmed a strong negative correlation between ‘Traffic conditions’ and ‘Health concern’(r=-.357, p<.05). 4 of the 5 factors of K-Drivers 65 plus were found to have an effect on driving risk, and among them, 'Traffic conditions' showed the highest influence(β=.562, p<0.01).
Conclusion : It was confirmed that the elderly drivers have difficulty driving in specific traffic conditions, but they are aware that they have the ability to drive safely if only the external conditions are satisfied, and they show a tendency to appreciate their driving ability highly. In the future, it is necessary to promote voluntary return of licenses using driving self-assessment, and to provide information on the safe driving range and safe driving route for the elderly who want to continue driving or to educate them on how to cope with various traffic conditions.
