Peter Adey

Peter Adey is Professor of Human Geography and head of Human Geography, Anthropology and Development Studies （HGADS） at Monash University. He researches the cultures, geopolitics of security, and aesthetic life of mobility and migration, and is the author of 9 books, such as Mobility （2010/2017） and Evacuation: The Politics and Aesthetics of Movement in Emergency （2024）; 4 edited books, including the Handbook of Mobilities and the Handbook of Displacement, and 6 special issues, such as Governing Emergencies.

David Bissell

David is a cultural geographer who researches how transformations in mobility, work and housing are reshaping lives. His current projects are exploring how reskilling is taking place in regional Australia, and how private renters rebuild their lives after housing displacement. He is author of Transit Life （MIT Press, 2018）, co-editor of Stillness in a Mobile World （Routledge, 2011）, Negative Geographies: Exploring the Politics of Limits （Nebraska, 2021）, and the Routledge Handbook of Mobilities （2014）. He is Managing Editor of Social ＆ Cultural Geography and an Editor of Progress in Human Geography.

Weiqiang Lin

Weiqiang Lin is Associate Professor at the Department of Geography, National University of Singapore. His work lies at the intersection of mobilities, infrastructure, technology and labour. He is section editor of Transfers （Ideas in Motion） and is currently working on a monograph on Atmospheric Labor: On the Affective Making of Aviation Infrastructures with Temple University Press.

Marian Aguiar

Marian Aguiar is an Associate Professor of Literary and Cultural Studies at Carnegie Mellon University, where her work focuses on the intersection of culture and globalization. She is the author of Tracking Modernity: India's Railway and the Culture of Mobility （University of Minnesota, 2012） and Arranging Marriage: Conjugal Agency in the South Asian Diaspora （University of Minnesota, 2018）. She is also the co-editor of the 2019 collection Mobilities, Literature, Culture with Lynne Pearce and Charlotte Mathieson. Her forthcoming book, Errant Mobilities: Decolonial Imaginaries of Mediterranean Sea Migration （Manchester UP） explores migration and the imagination of movement in the Mediterranean context.
