유보통합에 따른 영아 교육과정에 대한 인식 및 방향 탐색 : 유치원 교사 FGI를 중심으로 = Exploration of awareness and direction of infant education curriculum according to integration of early childhood education and childcare : Focused on kindergarten teacher FGI

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 유보통합 정책에 따라 영아 교육과정이 개발되어 적용될 것으로 예상되는 과정에서, 영아 교육과정이처음 적용될 유치원의 교사들을 대상으로 영아 교육과정에 대한 인식과 방향을 탐색하고자 초점집단인터뷰(FGI)를실시하였다. 연구목적을 달성하기 위해, 10명의 유치원 교사를 현장전문가로 선정하였으며, 반구조화된 사전질문을통해 FGI를 실시하였다. 수집된 자료를 주제분석방법에 따라 3개의 상위범주와 6개의 하위범주로 범주화되었다.
연구결과 첫째, 유치원 교사들은 영아 교육과정에 대해 다양한 관점을 가지고 있었으며, 같은 유치원 교사끼리도배우 상반된 인식을 지니고 있기도 하였다. 또한, 영아 교육과정의 개발과 적용에 대해 매우 신중한 접근이 요구되었다.
둘째, 유보통합으로 영아 교육과정이 유치원에도 적용될 것으로 인식하면서, 영아 교육과정에 대한 방향을 제시하였다.
인간 성장과 발달의 기본교육으로써의 역할을 충실히 하면서, 신체활동, 정서, 인지, 언어, 사회성 등 총체적 접근을중시여겼다. 이러한 영아 교육과정을 현장에 운영하기 위해서, 교원양성체제와 교원자격에 대한 정비와 개선도 요청되었다. 셋째, 현재의 유치원에 영아 교육과정이 적용되기 위해 해결해야 할 다양한 문제점과 대안이 제안되었다. 본연구는 유보통합에 따른 영아 교육과정에 대한 유치원 교사들의 실질적인 인식을 파악할 수 있었으며, 유치원에영아 교육과정이 적용되기 위해 정책적 시사점을 제공한다는 의의가 있다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study was conducted in the process of developing and applying the infant education curriculum according to the integration policy of early childhood education and childcare. FGI were conducted with teachers in kindergartens to explore their perceptions and direction of the infant education curriculum. To achieve the research purpose, 10 kindergarten teachers were selected as field experts. FGI was conducted through semi-structured preliminary questions, and the collected data were analyzed according to thematic analysis method. Through this process, it was categorized into three upper categories and six lower categories. Research results: First, kindergarten teachers had diverse perspectives on the infant education curriculum, and even among kindergarten teachers, they sometimes had conflicting perceptions. In addition, a very careful approach to the development and application of the infant education curriculum was required. Second, the direction for the infant curriculum was presented. While faithfully fulfilling its role as basic education for human growth and development, it placed emphasis on a holistic approach. In order to operate the infant education curriculum in the field, maintenance and improvement of the teacher training system and teacher qualifications were also requested. Third, various problems and alternatives that need to be solved in order to apply the infant curriculum to current kindergartens were proposed. This study was able to determine the practical perceptions of kindergarten teachers regarding the infant curriculum according to the integrated kindergarten, and is meaningful in providing policy implications for applying the infant curriculum to kindergartens.
