꿈과 健康狀態에 對한 調査報告(Ⅱ) = A Study on Dream and Health

Psycho-analysis, in Western Medicine, has been available to organize the diversified interpretations on dream and health. However, Freudism has been developed and complicated. Now-adays, the unified holistic theory is generally interpret the dream as a protector of the whole health on it's accurate account.
On the contrary, in Orient Medical Science, since they regal?d the dream phantasmic hallucination caused by functional unbalance of a living body in sleep, they interpret it with variation of dual power (Um and Yang) and five elements (Ohaeng) ; generating power, accelerating power, unification power, controlling power, livable potential power.
I examined, as my second research, physical condition before dreaming, contents, colors, time and seasons in dream, and its characters, and interrelations.
These researches have been made by the assignments of 578 students of three middle and high schools in Seoul and Pasan during summer vacation on 1970.
The summerized results are as followings.
1) By the distribution of ages:
The group of students born in 1952 occupies 20.97 per cent. The group of students bolo in 1953 occupies 21.31 per cent. The group of students born in 1950 occupies 1.73 per cent, the smallest.
2) By sex :
Male occupies 57.3 per cent. Female occupies 42.3 percent.
3) By seasons in dream :
Fall occupies 65.61 per cent.
Summer occupies 23.63 per cent.
Winter occupies 0.63 per cent, the smallest.
4) By colors in dream :
Black and white (mixtured colour) occupies the largest per cent. (Male 31.43 per cent, female 19.62 per cent.) and black, green, red and yellow comes in order.
On the contrary, natural colors appeared in no more than six per cent. (Male 3.65 per cent, emale 2.26 per cent)
5) By times in dream:
Days are nearly doubled nights. (Days 63.8 per cent, nights 36.2per cent)
6) By articles and contents appeared in dream to 12 parts, and subdivided them to 75 parts, and again syntheaized research concerned with the physical condition before dream.

very good condition :
Male 6.23 per cent.
Female 3.98 per cent.
Good condition :
Male 21.45 per rent.
Female 10.21 per cent.
Common condition :
Male 29.33 per cent.
Female 28.80 per cent.)
Frequency shows in this order:
Water, (include sea and river) friend, opposite sex, brother and sister, a matter of life or death. (include murder and injury)
7) In group of common condition in health before sleep :
There is much frequency to see abnormal man, and to make symbolic relation with relative or teachers, appearing shutted or danger place like a hillock, a cliff, and a shelter, feel horror or unrest, see treas.
8) In male it appears more o(ten than female to see one's birth place, to do or see flying, falling, escape, murder, injury, bleeding, drowning, to see a vessel. On the contrary, in the female symbolic sexual relation, unmovable action to get up or speak, talking in sleep, nasal hemorrhage, a snake etc. more often appears.
9) Relation colors in dream with contents.
