포스트모던 시대의 가족 담론에 대한 기독교 윤리적 성찰 = A Christian Ethical Reflection on the Postmodern Family from An Ecofeminist Perspective

Nowadays, we are facing the rapid changes of the Korean family in its size and form as well as its content and understanding. Many so-cio-demographic statistics show that the family as a social institution comes to collapse especially after the IMP crisis. If one consider the high (actually the highest in the world) divorce rate and the low (also the low est) birth rate of Korean society, the Korean family, it is no doubt, is in a critical situation
This article aims to examine the family crisis discourse which has oc-curred at the time of the abolishment of family headship system(戶主制) and try to reconstruct the alternative family discourse which appeals to the postmodern age. If the main condition of postmodernism is the return of the voices of the oppressed, it is our task to embrace the diverse fami-lies in our society which do not fit the standardized ron of the family, so called patriarchical-capitalistic family. And also as we think of the Christian family ethics in the postmodern age, we are responsible to complement the danger of postmodernism that is the possibility to disrupt the community.
In this context, this article analyzes the family myths, explores the values and meanings of the family in the light of the biblical teachings, and suggests the new vision of the postmodern family upon the ecofe-minist Christian ethical perspective.
