한국 고대 여성의 역사와 인식 -경계 넘나들기-

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This paper explored trends in ancient women’s history research and predicted prospects. Historical research on ancient women can be broadly divided into two. One is a study conducted based on the perspective and theme consciousness of women’s history. A study was also conducted to reveal the existence of women who have not been noticed in the past history. Research on women has been carried out since early in the research on marriage, relatives, and succession to the throne, which has a relatively large amount of data.
The other is research that focuses on microhistory, not macro history, and focuses on women as a new research theme as part of this new research trend. We paid a ttention to the role of women in the political system history, international relations history, and socioeconomic history.
The task of early research on ancient women’s history was to clarify the origin of women’s oppression and to examine the role and status of women. Accordingly, studies were conducted to examine the roles and status of ancient women in a ccordance with the sacredness of the mother and the role of priests. Later, studies were conducted on the political role and status of ancient women. A number of studies were conducted on the reign of the queen and the regent of the empress, and the political status a nd roles of ancient wo men were investigated. These studies contributed to clarifying the status and role of ancient women.
The study of ancient women’s history in Korea is as follows.
The first period was from the 1920s to 1970s. The study of women’s history as social history began, which led to the study of women in the history of marriage, relatives, and family history.
The second period was in the 1980s. The study on the status and role of women has begun with the introduction of the perspective and methodology of women’s history research.
III period was in the 1990s. Women’s history research has begun in earnest, but since then, research on women’s history has been conducted in the social and women’s history fields. This is when the “Women’s History Special Issue” was planned and the publication to the public began.
IV period was in the 2000s. This is a time when the themes of women’s history research have diversified and the results have expanded quantitatively. Based on the accumulated research results, the scope of research on women’s history has expanded.
V period was in t he 2010s. Many achievements were accumulated in each field of historical research, and deep research was carried out from various themes and perspectives.
The ancient women’s history research in Korea is very meaningful in that it aims to discover and reproduce the a reas o f women that had not been paying attention to until then, and to pursue the whole history.
