미디어를 활용한 무용교육 콘텐츠 사례 연구 = A study of dance education content using media

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

In these days of the development of scientific technology and the generalization of digital device, among various convergence researches, the importance of converging between an art and the scientific technology stands out as a creative alternative in response to our rapidly changing future society. With the supply of smart equipments, the easily usable network service, and the introduction of web 2.0 which enables two-way communication, our modern society developed from simply providing information to the point where everyone can produce and share by an internet. Therefore, the chance to express oneself through the media has been increased, and the quantity of collected information is enormous. In other words, the media is the medium to express oneself and to communicate with society. Therefore, our contemporaries are required to have the ability to accommodate, differentiate, and interpret diverse information critically by using media, which is called the media literacy skill. The purpose of the media education is to strengthen the media literacy skill focusing the communication as mentioned above. The media education is the process of preparation for changing media. Moreover it is an education to equip the communication ability of composition, assessment, analysis, accommodation, creation and intercommunity to keep the relationship of assimilation, control, and equilibrium with the media environment. These kinds of media literacy education has many case studies that are in progress with the art as the central area, but the research or the case study regarding the media acceptability within the dance or the dance education using the media is very slight. Therefore, as a basic experiment for cultivating men of ability and fulfilling an advanced education of what this generation wants, this research introduce the case study of the dance education using the media and analyze the content. This research shows various case studies containing the activity of movement that what general media literacy education lacks of. More specifically, it shows the case study containing the activity of movement such as mime through the convergence between the media art hands-on exhibition that excites the movement and the play, and also the dance education case study using the media as a media literacy education focusing on expression. As a result, the dance education contents, attempting to understand the media, and aiming for the communication skill using media and analyzing skill of a circumstance and the culture of the society based on media with strengthening the ability to make the media and manufacturing the medium are present. However, most of them are running in short terms because they lack the professionals of media and dance field, and also lack financial support to run continuously. Throughout the society, as the importance of the dance education using the media is emphasized and the needs of it increased, we need to cultivate men of ability and build the foundation of an administration system for continuous operation and spread of an education contents. In addition we need to search for an educational development, variety of contents, and an advanced foundation.
