국문 초록 (Abstract)

해학성은 한국미술의 중요한 특질의 하나로 삶에 대한 관조와 사유에서 비롯되며 희로애락과 조화와 갈등, 포용과 성찰을 통해 인생의 본질을 이해하고 이를 여유와 웃음으로 표현하는 인간고유의 감성이다. 본 논문은 해학성에 관련해 소재나 문양 변천 등에 대한 연구가 심화될 수 있도록 시대적 미감의 변화 및 조형의식의 차이와 해학성의 연관성, 전개양상을 비교함으로써 한국미술의 정체성과 특질을 연구하고 고려청자?분청사기?백자의 기원과 당대인들의 삶에 대한 인식과 가치관, 염원이 담긴 포류수금문?조어문?용호문의 상징 및 의미, 표현방법을 통해 시대별 해학성을 분석했다. 정교하고 화려한 비색청자의 섬세한 포류수금문은 자연을 벗삼고 삼라만상을 사유하며 회화적 느낌과 서정적?문학적 정취를 통해 해학성을 나타낸다. 새 유교국가 건설의 힘과 기상을 보여주는 분장회청 바탕의 조어문은 길상과 일상의 염원을 의미하며 자유분방함과 활달하고 소박한 심상의 세계를 통해 해학성을 구현하며 단색조의 미학과 이지러진 비대칭의 넉넉한 공간감에 바탕한 자유로운 필선의 용호문은 파격과 일탈로 해학과 미감이 어우러진 예술적 감성과 깊은 맛을 표현한다. 결국 한국미술의 해학성은 시대를 초월하여 일상의 평범함을 예술로 승화시키고 무심한 듯한 소박함과 자연미, 비균일성을 통해 웃음을 끌어내며 내면의 심상과 사유의 과정을 보여준다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

Humor is an important characteristic of Korean fine art. It is a unique human sensuality, emanating from contemplation and reasoning of human beings about life. It comprehends essence of life through joy and pain, harmony and conflict, and tolerance and reflection, and is expressed through ease of mind and laughter. With regard to humor as a characteristic of Korean art, this thesis researches into the identity and characteristics of Korean fine art, in order to deepen related studies of materials and patterns and their change across different historical eras, by comparing how humor developed in relation to change of aesthetics and the difference in form in different historical circumstances. It analyzes humor of different eras through symbols, meanings and ways of expression in the reed-willow-waterbird pattern, the bird-fish pattern and the dragon-tiger pattern. These patterns all show the origins of Goryeo celadon, greyish-blue-powdered celadon and white porcelain, as well as express perspective, perception of life and hopes of people in the respective historical era. In the reed-willow-waterbird pattern, with its elaborate and colorful figures, and delicate techniques of beautiful greenish blue celadon, humor is expressed through figures befriending nature and contemplating the universe, with a painting-like nuance, and lyrical and literary charm. The bird and fish design on grayish-blue-powdered celadon shows the power and spirit of building a new nation based on Confucianism and signifies good omen and hopes of everyday life. The dragon-tiger pattern articulates humor through its carefree, active and simple thoughts and senses. It creates freeflowing lines based on single-color aesthetics and waning asymmetrical spaciousness, and expresses artistic sensibilities and deep taste that come from joining together humor and aesthetics through unconventionality and deviation. In all, humor in Korean art transcends historical eras, sublimates ordinariness of everyday life into art, draws out laughter through carefree simpleness, natural beauty and non-uniformity. It shows the inner thoughts and senses as well as the process of contemplation.
