남명학판권 선헌문인(旋軒門人)의 존재 양상 = Aspet of the existence of YeoHeonMunIn in the NamMyeong School

This paper analyzed the present condition and the aspect of the existence of students of YeoHeon jang HyeonGwang who belonged to the NamMyeong School. Jang HyeonGwang who formed the YeoHeon School with Indong as a base in the early 17rh was a scholar leading the YeongNam Academic Circles in the early and mid-17th with Jung Gu, during the same period, who formed the HanGan School with SeongJu as a base. Until now, Jang HyeonGwans has been considered to play an important mediation role in making people in the NamMyeong School who lost the essential pivot after InJoBanJeong change their inception toward the ToeGye School, while he has been recognized not to have any specific correlationship with Jo Sik, the Great Teacher of NamMyeong School academically. However, the three facts show that those two are never unrelated ones to each other. Firstly, 61 students belonged to the NamMyeong School Circles. Secondly, Jang HyeonGwang respected Jo Sik Very much. Thirdly, his scholarly behaviors showed quite strong color of the NamMyeong School. Moreover, Seo InCheuk`s suggestion that there was sympathy for Jung InHong implies lots of things relevat to Jang HyeonGwang`s recognition of the NamMyeong School. Under such a context, it is necessary to understand the fact that Jang HyeonGwang could gather together 61 students targeting the NamMyeong Scgiik Circle and made this area as a major base for the YeoHeon School. Relations between Jang HyeonGwang and the NamMyeong School could be found in many kinds of materials on academics, the ancestral rites in a memorial hall, and correspondence in detail, and in such a process, he could foster excellent students such as Jo ImDo. Jo ImDo was also called as YeoMunSibHyeon and did not make Jang HyeonGwang belong to the NamMyeong School. However, it has another meaning in that he tried to compromise the ToeGye School with the NamMteong School through him.
