산업화 시기 프롤레타리아화 과정의 소설적 구현- 연작 서술상황의 비체계성을 중심으로 = A Reading on Marx’s Conception of the Primitive Accumulation : The Novel of Proletarianization in 1970s of Korea

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

There are many contemporary implications of Marx's argument. One of the notions that has been discussed up until recently is 'proletariat'. The Dwarf would have been considered as a representative work that implements the proletarianization on the southern part of the Korean Peninsula in 1970s as a serial novella. By analyzing some moments of the Marx's conception of proletarianization in relation to 'the primitive accumulation' in his manuscripts before Capital, I tried to reveal the rules and exceptions that appear in the narrative situation of The Dwarf series. If a protagonist of a novella in the series belongs to the proletariat, the novella would be a auto-narration text, whereas if a protagonist doesn't belong the proletariat, the novella would be a hetero-narration text. But in a novella, although the protagonist belongs bourgeois, the text is a auto-narrational one. This is the exception of the series. When The Dwarf is interpreted by focusing on the narrative situation of the series, the whole of this series is divided into two oppositional classes, and should be read as the narrative embodied the dialectical relation between the 'living labour' and the 'dead labour'. In this paper, based on the manuscripts of Marx's Captial, the proletarianization should be undestood as the acquisition of subjective class consciousness beyond simple reification, and The Dwarf should be interpreted as a narrative which implements the Proletarianization process leading to the division of classes and the militancy of proletariat.
